Two-story monolithic Venetian plaster fireplace wall in MacDonald Highlands luxury villa
PROJECT DETAILS

MacDonald Highlands Villa – Monolithic Plaster Fireplace

Project Description

Perched high in the Dragon’s Ridge enclave of MacDonald Highlands, this custom architectural home features an open-concept living pavilion anchored by a dramatic three-story concrete fireplace volume.

We clad the entire monolithic fireplace structure in a bespoke hand-troweled textured plaster with deep charcoal and warm graphite undertones. Utilizing coarse marble aggregates and specialized dry-distressing techniques, we achieved a subtle pitted stone texture reminiscent of cast volcanic basalt.

The heat-resistant mineral formulation ensures complete thermal stability beside the 72-inch linear gas burner without risk of cracking or discoloration.
